Important
Microsoft Purview access policies for Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and Azure Arc-enabled SQL Server 2022 retire on October 30, 2027. Migrate the access these policies grant to SQL native roles and permissions. For more information, see Retirement of Microsoft Purview access policies for SQL. This retirement doesn't affect SQL database in Microsoft Fabric.
Lists all database and server principals created from Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) assigned to a given role on a given resource scope.

| assignment_scope | nvarchar(4000) | The hierarchical representation of the resource(s) that this assignment applies to. |
