QHIP stands for Quebec Health Insurance Plan.

Resolution

Use these steps to enable QHIP tax for Quebec:

1. The QHIP tax is set up under the Employer. Select Tools on the Microsoft Dynamics GP menu, point to Setup, point to Payroll-Canada, and select Employer.

2. Then select the Provincial Health button.

3. Set up the QHIP percentage, debit, and credit accounts as wanted.

4. Set the option at the bottom for Distribute CSST Expense (Quebec) to YES.

5. Select OK and select Save.
