I'm presented with the error "Tenant does not have a SPO license" when using the Graph API listing files on ODrive.

I'm well aware of the following article, and Currently at the same point as the poster of the said article.
Stackoverflow - Tenant does not have a SPO license I've created an Application on my AD and followed the instructions on authentication. Now I need to purchase an SPO licence and associate it with my AD account as suggested in the aforementioned Stackoverflow link. I have, 1. Created an AD user under the AD tenant, Ie- user@Anonymous .onmicrosoft.com 2. Signed up for O365 Business with the new email. But during the buying process of Sharepoint I end up with the following error when trying to complete my Sharepoint purchase

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, K. Rodrigo

@Kaveen Rodrigo Assign Global Administrator directory role (Azure Portal > Azure AD > Directory Roles > Global Administrator > click on assign) to the user, sign-out and sign back in. Try the purchase again.
