Hey there,
we are currently planning to introduce Viva Goals to our company. Unfortunately we are not able to change the default language in Goals to German. Neither in the browser or Teams App. While the other Viva Products are on German. Any ideas how to change that?
My language settings are all set on German.

Do you synchronize the users from Active Directory? Please try to set the AD attribute "Preferred Language" to de-DE.

Thank you, this was the issue indeed. We changed this seeting using an PowerShell and after synchronizing everything was OK!

based on my research, i found that：
For a language to be available, the user can only select the following locales within Microsoft 365 Language Settings.

Thanks for your answer, sadly it does not solve our problem. The language settings are set on German (O365-Settings, as you can see in the picture I posted above) and should be enforced in Viva Goals. Unfortunately it is not and there is no possibility to change the language manually. :(

Based on my below test, i can change the language of Viva Goals successfully:
1.Log in to https://myaccount.microsoft.com/settingsandprivacy/language and change the Display language to German.
2.Log out and log in again.
3.Log in to https://goals.microsoft.com/ again, i found the language in Viva Goals has been changed.
Please try to log out and log in again after you change the language.

-> It already is - managed by organizationwide settings:
-> Viewing the profile settings in Goals I get the following:
=> In Viva Goals it says en-us (falling back to en) - when clicking on "Change your language" I get redirected to the picture above where the settings are already set on German.

Und!? Bisher noch keine Änderung vorhanden, oder? Selbe Problem haben wir auch ... wenn man VIVA Goals per Teams öffnet, DANN ist es jedoch auf deutsch. Alles sehr seltsam immer.
