Edge Chromium Updates via SCCM

I'm looking for information on how to allow Chromium Edge to only update via updates delivered via SCCM. I have the deployment package working OK and created an ADR that appears to work fine, but by the time SCCM doles it out, the test clients have already updated from Microsoft Update.

    @Martin Little ,
    Are you using the Configuration Manager version 2002 or later?

    In version 1910, when Microsoft Edge is deployed, the installation script turns off automatic updates for Microsoft Edge so they can be managed with Configuration Manager.

    Starting in version 2002, you can create a Microsoft Edge application that's set up to receive automatic updates rather than having automatic updates disabled. This change allows you to choose to manage updates for Microsoft Edge with Configuration Manager or allow Microsoft Edge to automatically update.

    When creating the application, you can deselect the option Allow Microsoft Edge to automatically update the version of the client on the end user's device on the Microsoft Edge Settings page.

    It may help you to control the automatic update of the Edge browser.

    Hi Depak, thanks for the response, I have the deployment package for new instances configured as you suggest, but there are a few "wild" existing installations that I want to bring into compliance.

    Normally I wouldn't be too concerned about the handful of rogue installations, but I happen to know that these users are the same ones that will be asking the questions about patch levels and methods of me, so I need to make sure that they are brought into the fold as a sort of test.
