Hello, i have an customer with an issue i cant find an solution to. I tried alot off 'fixes". Hopefully someone has the answer for me. What they use:
4x Server 2022 With Citrix environment. Citrix profile manamgent is not used! Profiles with FSlogix only Office 365 latest regular version SSO trough AD connect Issue: When users have an second or more email accounts in, those account always ask for the password every time when they start outlook the first time in that session. When entering the password, the popup doesn't come back for that session. But when logging off in windows and back on, the popup returns when starting Outlook. It happens only with the extra account. the main user account doesn't have this issue. Also the other accounts are all in the same tenant as the user. Extra info: This issue is not there when using windows 10/11 workstations. The mail accounts are not share mailboxes, because shared mailboxes you cant set standard for the "from" field. They mail alot trough those mailboxes, and dont want to change the "from" everytime. Things i tried before i went mad :P Tried without GPO's with an new user account. No change.
Tried without FSlogix service enabled. So an local windows profile folder is created. this did work. But is not an real solution of course. So it has to do with profile management it looks like. Also tried an few other things i cant recall atm.. The last thing i did, is create an GPO with 2 register keys. This worked for the users. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Identity\DisableADALatopWAMOverride >1 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Identity\DisableAADWAM > 1 But after 2 weeks, the popups do return. I have an simular setup with other customer, but without citrix ans server 2019 instead of 22, and they dont have this issue. The FSlogix GPO used there, is also used here, only with an other profile path. Verdict I dont know what to do anymore. Work an few days on it before i got sick of it. I think the best option is to let go of the extra accounts and add them as shared mailboxes instead, losing the standard "from" field. thanks in advance! PS: why is the layout of the txt without enters when is save this...

Hello there, How long are you facing this issue? Might be an temporary service issue as described here https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook_com/forum/all/multiple-users-outlook-prompting-their-credentials/93204e35-4f19-4045-a6a1-412b5091c04a This issue can occur if the Logon network security setting on the Security tab of the Microsoft Exchange dialog box is set to a value other than Anonymous Authentication. Outlook continually prompts for your password when you try to connect to Microsoft 365 https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/troubleshoot/authentication/continually-prompts-password-office-365 Hope this resolves your Query !! --If the reply is helpful, please Upvote and Accept it as an answer--
