Seeing other user name when logging in SharePoint portal

Hello,

Need help:

We have a SharePoint 2016 on-premise intranet site. When users connect, sometime they can see the home page and even browse without being prompted the logon page. Also, at the upper-right corner, they see other users name as the logon account instead of their account name.

You could try below tips to troubleshoot the issue.

1.Which browser are you using? If you use IE browser, go to Internet Options -> Security tab -> In the Internet zone, choose custom level -> User authentication -> Select "Prompt for user name and password".

2.Clear the browser cache or use another browser to test.

Thanks for the suggestion. We have tried different web browsers with private mode on different computers, the issue persists.
