Hi there,

Is there any way to put a email message ID into a disclaimer for tracking use at all and be able to see each email with a 'reference'

Outlook itself does not provide a built-in way to generate unique message IDs for individual emails. However, you can manually create a unique identifier.

A simple numbering scheme, a timestamp, or a combination of information can be used to create a unique identifier for each email.

    e.g. -unique identifier: [TIMESTAMP]_[SUBJECT] (e.g., 20230814_Hello_World).

You can manually insert the generated message ID [Unique Identifier: 20230814_Hello_World] into the disclaimer section.

    Hi @Marcus Naw

In mail flow rule there is no condition to add a messageID to the disclaimer.

If the purpose is to track a message, by default every message has a unique messageID as its identifier.

You can get the corresponding messageID via message tracking log (Exchange on-premises) or message trace (Exchange Online).

    Example:

    message tracking log (Exchange on-premises):

    01

    message trace (Exchange Online):

    01
