Hi,
We should clone VM which is either running or stopped. Please make sure the VM Status is correct.
Also try to reboot our SCVMM server.

I have searched for a couple of hours and I can't find anything that will help me, so I am now asking on the forum.
We have a Microsoft System Center 2022 Virtual Machine Manager that we use to maintain about 20 virtual machines being hosted on a Hyper-V host server (Server 2016). I need to clone a VM that we use as a spare VM for employees as we know it is fully functional. I have tried for a couple of hours to clone the machine with no success. VMM is supposed to have a "clone" option if you click on the VM and go to Create, but the option to Clone or create VM Template is greyed out...
I have checked to make sure all required services on the server are running and I have tried with the machine moved to the library, powered off, and Saved State. I have also tried several restarts and I have checked the server logs for any errors that may be causing this and I have found nothing. Nothing seems to work and I know at one time we had this option available to us before I updated us to System Center 2022 months ago. Can anyone point me in the right direction to figure this out. Thanks :)
