    If you have created a Recovery Services vault in Norway East and you are unable to find your VM in UK South because the VM region is different from the vault. To enable backup for a VM, the VM and the Recovery Services vault must be in the same region.

    If the VM and the Recovery Services vault are in different regions, you will need to create a new Recovery Services vault in the same region as the VM and then enable backup for the VM in the new vault. Once backup is enabled, you can then replicate the backup data to the Recovery Services vault in Norway East if needed.
