Hello Team,

We have 2 nodes that are running windows 2012R2 with Windows Failover Cluster, now 2 more additional nodes are brought in, Can these be installed with Windows 2022 and added to the existing Windows 2012 R2 Cluster?

The plan was if it allows to add ,then will format the existing 2012R2 and make them also to 2022

Thank you

    Hi,

When Windows Server 2022 nodes are added to the Windows Server 2012 R2 cluster, the cluster will work in the mixed-OS mode and the cluster function level will remain Windows Server 2012 R2.

To upgrade the cluster node, you can refer to this link.

    Best Regards,
