The screenshot suggests that only Windows authentication is available. However, AAS supports multiple authentication methods. If you need to use a different authentication method, you should check the Azure portal to see if there are additional configurations required on the AAS side to enable alternative authentication methods.
The firewall setting in your second screenshot shows that the access from the Power BI Service is turned off. You will need to enable this setting to allow connections from Power BI to AAS. The Power BI service must be allowed through the firewall in order to connect to your AAS instance.
Try to :
- Turn on the "Allow access from the Power BI Service" in the firewall settings of your AAS. This is necessary for Power BI to communicate with AAS.
- For the authentication method, you may need to configure additional settings in Azure or within Power BI to support different authentication methods. It is possible that the Power BI interface does not directly provide an option for other authentication methods, but they can be configured at the backend in Azure.
