I am receiving an error message when trying to create a new Azure MySQL flexible server database in the Southeast Asia region. The error states that "Subscription <name> is not allowed to provision in Southeast Asia." I already have one MySQL database in this subscription. Is there a limit to the number of databases I can create within each region in an Azure subscription?

    •,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

As I understand, you could not create Azure Database for MySQL Flexible Server in Southeast Region.

Yes you are right, currently we could not provision Azure Database for MySQL Flexible Server in Southeast Asia region for few subscriptions.

    Hi @LonLee

Yes, it's possible that the capacity issue in that region is temporary. You could try again in a few days, and you might be able to create the server in the same region. However, to get an estimate of how long it will take to resolve the capacity issue, it's best to reach out to Microsoft support.

In the meantime, you can consider creating the server in another region as an alternative option. Hope this helps!

    Thank you!
