How to explain the 'Teams - Web' usage in the Viva Connections analytics?

Hello, we just deployed a small-scale pilot with Viva Connections in our organization. Looking at the analytics, it seems there are a lot of users using 'Teams - Web' to access Viva Connections:
User's image I don't believe 35% of our users are using the web version of Teams, as no-one in the pilot is using the web version of Teams. We can exclude non-pilot users as the Viva Connections app is only available to our pilot users. Can anyone explain why I am seeing such a large percentage of 'Teams - Web' usage? Does anyone see the same figures in his/her analytics? Thanks in advance, Sander

    Hi @Sander de Koning

The usage data for Viva Connections is aggregated across apps and devices, regardless of the platform. This means that the ‘Teams - Web’ category includes views from any web browser, not just the web version of Teams. For example, if a user accesses Viva Connections from a mobile browser, it will be counted as ‘Teams - Web’ usage.

Therefore, the 35% of ‘Teams - Web’ usage does not necessarily mean that your pilot users are using the web version of Teams, but rather that they are using any web browser to access Viva Connections. This could be due to various reasons, such as personal preference, device compatibility, or network availability.
