Viva connections does not respect the theme of the SharePoint site

For a week now when we access the main intranet site from Ms Teams using "Viva Connections" (new or classic) we do not see the selected theme on the site. We see a theme based on blue, this happens in different sites with different tenants, curiously we only see the correct theme when the user from configuration chooses the dark theme.

In sharePoint:

Accessing the same site from Teams:

Accessing the same site from Teams in dark mode:

Thanks

    Hi all,

the issue is also appearing for a client that I'm currently working on. We have a planned go-live coming up and the integration into Teams is one of our big selling factors to the organization. Having the right Corporate Identiy/Brand also appearing in Teams in really key.

    Hello Eduardo,

I have the same problem. We use the black and yellow theme for the SharePoint Home page. But now, via Viva Connections in Teams-Light-Mode, the start page is displayed with a blue and white theme. If you open the SharePoint page in the browser or in Teams-Dark-Mode, it is displayed correctly (Black/Yellow). But one of the main functions of Viva Connections is the Teams integration of SharePoint, which in my opinion no longer works correctly. Have you opened a ticket with Microsoft and already gained further insights into the issue? Thank you for your answer!

    Greetings

    Lennart

    Hi @Eduardo González Muñiz ,

This may be related to the fact that applying themes to your Connections experience is currently available to targeted release customers only, with a full rollout to general audiences by early Q1 in 2024. Additionally, if an end user has selected dark mode on their mobile or tablet device, the dashboard and other Connections components will render in dark mode with the default color and will not apply the theme colors.

Therefore, it is possible that the issue you are experiencing may be resolved once the full rollout is complete.

    Hi, @Yanli Jiang - MSFT

    Thank you for your reply.

What you comment on refers to the dashboard or connections, that effectively works as you say. It works well and picks up on the theme of the site. But if you look at the images I'm sending you, I'm talking about the home page of the site, accessed from Teams through Viva Connections. That is, it's not the dashboard itself, it's the sharepoint site itself that loses the styles (except, curiously, in dark mode)
