Openshift Cluster stuck, cannot delete

Hello,

Openshift cluster is stuck in provisioning state: creating, tried to delete it but to no avail, seems to be stuck entirely. How can I force delete it, since it seems to lock up everything.

The primary reason for this issue is the deletion of resources that are not directly linked to the ARO cluster. Specifically, network interface resources that are associated with NSGs managed by the ARO cluster can cause deletion failures if not handled correctly.

Step-by-Step Instructions to Resolve the Issue

Verify Resource Deletion Status

• Navigate to the Azure portal.
  • Go to the Resource Group associated with your ARO cluster.
  • Check the Activity Log to identify any recent deletions of network interfaces or other resources. Check Network Interface Associations
    • In the Azure portal, go to Network Interfaces.
      • Identify and select the network interfaces that were previously associated with the ARO cluster's NSG.
        • Ensure that these network interfaces have been properly deleted and are no longer associated with the NSG.
        Disassociate Network Security Groups (NSG)
        • Navigate to Network Security Groups in the Azure portal.
          • Select the NSG that was managed by the ARO cluster.
            • Ensure that all network interfaces and other resources have been disassociated from this NSG. Delete the ARO Cluster
• Return to the ARO Cluster resource in the Azure portal.
• Attempt to delete the ARO cluster again.
  • Confirm that the deletion process completes successfully.
