yeah I guess you can do this, with phone system feature
First off, make sure your organization has the right licenses for Microsoft's Phone System feature. This is what allows you to integrate phone capabilities into Teams. Once that's sorted, assign these licenses to the users who need phone numbers.
Now, you've got a couple of options for the actual phone numbers:
Microsoft offers these, giving you domestic and international calling features.
With this, you can use your existing telephony provider and connect it to Teams.
If you're going with Calling Plans, you can order numbers right from the Teams admin center. Just head to the "Voice" section and then "Phone numbers." Once you've got the numbers, assign them to your users in the admin center.
