Upgrading to Visual Studio V17.10 generates "The type or namespace 'Storage' does not exist in the namespace 'Windows' (are you missing an assembly or reference?" errors.

I just installed the V17.10.0 update from V17.9 and now get a set of error messages like this: "The type or namespace 'Storage' does not exist in the namespace 'Windows' (are you missing an assembly or reference?" in the Visual Studio generated App.xaml.cs file which I have never edited or touched.

My application worked fine without any errors prior to installing the update.

I have used the repair facility in Visual Studio Installer but that did not fix the problem.

Thanks in advance for your help!
