Hi Team,

I got an alert to upgrade the VM's, and I am using below configuration. But my first question do I need to upgrade this VM's. If yes, then which version I need to select from the below image under A-series v2.

    Hello, @Pattabi THUMATI !

I received a notification that my VMs need to be upgraded to Av2-series VMs. What do I need to do?

If you have Av1-series VMs, they will need to be migrated to Av2-series VMs however it sounds like you do not have Av1-series VMs looking at your B2ms screenshot. If you only have B2ms VMs and no Av1-series VMs (and are not planning on deploying Av1-series VMs), then no action is needed.

These notices do not necessarily mean that you have resources that are impacted, but may also provide notice for subscriptions that are capable of deploying impacted resources. We have provided feedback to the Virtual Machine team as this wording has caused some confusion.

You can confirm if you have the VM size that is going to be affected by looking at the size of each VM in your subscription using the following Azure CLI command (via the Azure Cloud Shell if you want):

    az vm list --query "[].{Name:name, ResourceGroup:resourceGroup, Location:location, PowerState:powerState, Size:hardwareProfile.vmSize}" -o table
