How to fix: Access denied due to invalid subscription key or wrong API endpoint. Make sure to provide a valid key for an active subscription and use a correct regional API endpoint for your resource?

Hey,

I am getting a 401 HTTP Error when trying to access my Computer Vision resource both through REST API and Vision Portal. I tried with a brand new multi-service AI account as well and it gives same error. The API Key and endpoint are correct. I have also tried regenerating keys but still it does not work.

Is something wrong with my Azure account?

Hello @Sneh Chauhan I'm glad that the issue is resolved and thank you for posting your solution so that others experiencing the same thing can easily reference this!

We observed a similar issue with the East US region yesterday; it may have been a temporary problem since it only lasted a few hours and then worked without any issues in East US.

Thank you again for your time and patience throughout this issue.

    Regards,
    Vasavi
