To permanently delete soft-deleted Azure Automation accounts, follow these steps:
- If your Automation account is linked to a Log Analytics workspace, but you want to keep the workspace, Unlink the Log Analytics workspace from the Automation account, Delete the Automation account.
- When you delete an Azure Automation account, it enters a soft delete state for up to 30 days, during which it can be recovered. If you can't permanently delete it immediately, you might need to wait for this period to end.
