    Hi Shyam Prasanna,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

The permissions required for a domain user to create a failover cluster are as follows:

    1. Add the permissions to create computer objects and read all properties to the computer account container.
    2. Add local administrator permissions to the domain user on the node server.

For details on adding cluster account permissions, you can refer to the following official link:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/failover-clustering/configure-ad-accounts

I hope the information above is helpful.

    Best regards

    Zunhui

    Hey,

You Domain Account should be added as the local administrator on the nodes your are planning to use for Failover Cluster. The account should have Create Computer objects and Read All Properties permissions in the container that is used for computer accounts in the domain. Check for more information: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/failover-clustering/configure-ad-accounts

The following guide should also help with configuration process: https://www.starwindsoftware.com/resource-library/starwind-virtual-san-for-hyper-v-2-node-hyperconverged-scenario-with-windows-server-2016/
