Hi,

Since Friday numerous users are complaining that are unable to click to call and are provided one of the below messages.

User's image User's image

All users are on same version number on Teams. Some are Win11 and other Win10 but both have the issue. No settings (manually) have been changed recently. Only automatic change was licensing, which we were transferred from Microsoft 365 Business Voice (Obsolete) to Microsoft Teams Phone Standard.

We are using vba code from access callto: However, asking users to try callto: in browser with their mobile number etc, does not work so it seems the issue is directly with teams.

I noticed an article previously regarding this issue but was Sept and advised it would be sorted by April. We've had new Teams for a few months now so that's ruled out switching from Classic to new.

Is anyone else having the issue and has a workaround or resolution ETA?

    Hi @Nathan Smith

Some users always test the link with "CALLTO://xxx" when using classic Teams and encounter the same problem as you. However, when using the new Teams, he excludes "//" and the link will work. Therefore, it is recommended that you try typing "CALLTO:xxx" to see if it will work as expected.
If this does not work, please send feedback at Microsoft Feedback and vote on issues similar to yours. Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future.

Thanks for your understanding and support.
