Hi there,
I'm trying to connect my Powershell to Azure AD. After inputting connect-azuread and inputting my account in the pop-up browser, there will be an error message from Google at last. I tried to use the credential from a successful command connect-azaccount but it's still the same.
Could anyone please help to check about this? Any help will be appreciated!

The error message indicates an issue with JavaScript on the browser.
I will recommend trying a different browser, place edge or chrome as default browser maybe?

Very thanks for your reply. But as I checked seems only connect-azaccount can use the device code. I can't find how to use this for connect-azuread.

Hi, thanks for the follow-up. You are correct, I tested and confirmed. Which browser does your powerShell use? Internet explorer? If it is IE, I will recommend we change it to edge.

I also tried to change the browser of the powershell (I'm using Powershell 5, because 7 doesn't support connect-azuread), but still not lucky. I searched solutions on Google but almost all articles are about how to use powershell to change the default browser, nothing about how to change the browser of powershell.
Hi Bruce, generally Powershell uses the system default browser. You can test which browser it triggers withStart-Process "https://www.google.com"

Very thanks for your help. I was using Chrome, and tried to switch to Edge. Start-Process "https://www.google.com" shows the change worked but the browser of Powershell didn't change...
