System state backup failure

I encounter an error when attempting to back up the system state, regardless of whether it is a manual or scheduled backup. The error message states, "Unable to install Windows Server backup tools required for system state backup."

From the screenshot, I see that your system state backup is failing. However, it is not clear if you are using Azure backup or Windows Server backup.

If using Azure Backup, please refer to the troubleshooting guide here - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/backup/backup-azure-system-state-troubleshoot

If it is Windows Server backup, then I would suggest posting this question on the Windows Server forum.

It is for Azure Backup. I followed the article but it is a generic guidelines that didn't help me at all.

@PSA-WA Can you check the CBEngine logs from C:\program files\Microsoft Azure Recovery Services Agent\Temp and see if that guides you to troubleshoot the issue further?
