E-mail signature in Exchange when replying or forwarding

Hi all,

I set up an email signature for the company via a rule in the mail flow in Exhange. However, I am running into a problem. Every time an email is forwarded or replied to, the signature is placed at the very bottom (the original email) instead of at the bottom of the text used in the reply. Is there a way in Exchange to solve this? I find it ideal to manage company-wide signatures in Exchange.

Does anyone have an idea how to solve this?

Unfortunately, this is the expected behavior. One workaround that some organizations use is to modify the rule to "detect" existing signatures and avoid adding it a second time, which you can do by adding an exception to the rule. Though in some scenarios you might be obliged to always add the signature.

If you want a more flexible solution, some third-party apps are able to control this behavior. Alternatively, you can consider using client side signatures. There's still something to be desired on that front, but Microsoft is slowly moving into a direction where an admin will be able to centrally manage those via PowerShell/Graph API.
