I didn't set up backup and now I want to restore the database that is more than 2 weeks old. Do I have any chance to recover that database or did I lose the changes permanently?

    Hello ACConsultor,

    Thanks for your question.

Your options are a bit limited under the circumstances. Recovering a database from a backup older than 7 days in Azure SQL Database depends on the service tier you're using.

Basic tier: 7 days. There's no way to recover data from backups older than that in the Basic tier.

    Standard tier: 35 days.

    Premium tier: 35 days.

I would recommend you check your service tier. If your database is within the retention period, you can perform a point-in-time restore. If not, data is most likely lost.
