My Edge Browser has been hijacked by Google

I prefer using the Edge Search engine Bing for search. All has been going well until I bought a Google phone last week and now somehow I am unable to use the Bing search engine. Every time I search using Bing I get a flash of Bing answers before Google comes in almost immediately with their own results. This is annoying an frustrating. I have blocked Pop-ups and Redirects on the Browser settings but htis has not been any help. Google seems to be blocking all attempts to work with Bing and I had to use duckduckgo to get on this forum.
How can I get the Bing Search Engine back on my Edge Browser and getting rid of the tenacious tentacles Google seems to have on my browsing efforts?

Could you please check the default search engine in your Microsoft Edge settings? What about directly going to bing.com to search something? Will it still show Google search results?
