Hi guys,

I'm trying to create an Azure Backup Vault that has Cross-region restore feature. The goal of this is to meet DR requirements of restoring the DB cross different region.

The region I'm in is Southeast Asia (Singapore). When I created this for my Postgresql flexible server, the backup automatically links to East Asia (Hong Kong).

My question is: How do I change what is Secondary Region is?

What I tried:

Thank you

Add-on:

In addition to that, with the current backup vault I've created, I've run a backup job immediately. When I try to restore to secondary region, it says "No data available". However, there are data restore points if I select restore to the primary region. Why is this?

Just as I posted this, I found the answer to questions.

Apparently this is a paired region and there's nothing I can do to.

    Reference: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/reliability/cross-region-replication-azure#azure-paired-regions

And my add-on question, most likely have to wait up to 48 hours.

Referenece: Once you enable Cross Region Restore, it might take up to 48 hours for the backup items to be available in secondary regions. https://github.com/MicrosoftDocs/azure-docs/blob/main/articles/backup/tutorial-cross-region-restore.md
