Hi,

Need to find the area it shows how much my company is spending on SharePoint?

I've done some research on it possibly being in 365 Admin > Billing > Invoices however, I wanted to double check that this will show how much the company is spending compared to the data storage they are currently using?

For example, if the company is using 1.99 TB of 5.57 TB, what is this costing the company for the data storage they are using compared to the overall data storage?

    Hi @Jack Fields,

Thank you for posting in this community.

The storage fee in SharePoint is not calculated based on the amount of space you use but based on the total amount of space you have.

For example, if you have a total of 5.57 TB of storage space, the storage fee is calculated based on 5.57TB. If you use 1.99TB, then your cost per TB = 5.5TB fee/1.99.

Some of your storage space is included in the plan you purchased, and some you purchased separately.

    • The storage space included in the plan is not charged separately, but directly charged to your entire plan. And this part of the storage space cannot be reduced. You can look up the name of the plan you purchased in 365 Admin > Billing > Products, and then search for the storage space included in the plan.
    • The storage space purchased separately is charged separately according to the size of the storage space you purchased. If you think you have enough storage space, you can reduce or cancel this part of the separately purchased storage space to save costs. You can also check the status of storage space you purchased separately in 365 Admin > Billing > Products.
