The certification report from Partner Center complaints that my App require Your product contains drivers that are not provided by Microsoft. The curiosity here is that I do not use 3rd party drivers or ask to download such during installation.

The only marked pre-requisite is ".NET Framework 4.8.1". By looking to the former mentioned "Technical requirement policies", I hope this is still from Microsoft, but it will not request for a download. Although it is a pre-requisite, it will be downloaded during the installation process. It is only a check!

Which dependency checker MS is using. In this case I (and all other affected) would prevent additional checks. .NET Reflector cannot read the setup package, because it says: btLogFileAnonymizerSetup, 'C:\Users\admin\Desktop\btLogFileAnonymizerSetup.exe' is not a .NET module. And ILSpy says something similar.

    Hi @Hans-Joachim Ballin

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!

According to the Microsoft Store Policies 10.2.4

Your product may depend on non-integrated software (such as another product, module, or service) to deliver its primary functionality, subject to the following requirements:

    • You disclose the dependency at the beginning of the description metadata.
    • Dependency on non-Microsoft provided driver(s) or NT service(s) is not allowed. If your product has a dependency on non-Microsoft provided driver(s) or NT service(s), you must disclose that dependency to Microsoft in the certification notes in Microsoft Partner Center to be considered for an exception to this policy.

It is recommended that you add a note in the description that this app requires .NET Framework 4.8.1A screenshot showing the overview of the listing page for MSIX/PWA app. Thank you.
