My school has decided to cancel their Azure subscription and solely rely on Microsoft 365 for user management and device deployment. Will I lose access to Intune for Schools?.

Our school jumped on Office 365 when it first came out and we set up Azure to manage permissions and devices. I guess someone decided to cancel the azure subscription. Most of the stuff is manageable through Microsoft 365, but does that mean I am going to lose access to Intune for Education? Will I still be able to deploy devices through the Setup School PCs app?

    Hello Trevor,

An Azure subscription is a billing entity for the Azure resources it contains like VMs or Databases. It is independent of Microsoft 365.

Canceling a subscription usually doesn't affect other Microsoft 365 services that are covered by licensing, like Intune or Office.
