Create Admin exemption for Power Automate approval in SharePoint

Hi there. I have searched with no answer but wonder if it is possible to create a rule that exempts our SharePoint admins from the power automate workflow approval when posting news or creating new pages on our SharePoint site. It is creating additional workload for these users to approve their own posts. Any workaround at all?

Thanks

    Hi @Graeme Lamb ,

    I got you.

I have researched this matter. Although the official template does not exclude site owners, the official document mentions that "the page approval flow is available for site owners to modify and add any custom business logic in the flow", which should be possible through modification.

Unfortunately, this template is complicated, I am not very good at Power Automate, and Power Automate is currently not supported in the Q&A forum. If this issue bothers you, you can go to the Power Automate Community  to seek more professional help.

    Good day!
