Azure API cost

Hello

I have Network Performance Monitoring Tools to monitor azure cloud environment, and the NPM use API to collect the data. My question is :

How many API free given by microsoft per month?
How we can calculate cost if the API query exceeded the limit?
How we can see how many API request for some period, example per day?

Thanks for your question.
- How many API free given by microsoft per month?: For networking resources - write / delete (PUT) 1000 per 5 minutes and read 10000 per 5 minutes https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-resource-manager/management/request-limits-and-throttling#network-throttling
- How we can calculate cost if the API query exceeded the limit?: There's no direct cost for ARM API calls, if you exceed the limit. If you exceed, it rquires requesting a quota increase.

Thanks for your info, please find my other queries in bold font.

For networking resources - write / delete (PUT) 1000 per 5 minutes and read 10000 per 5 minutes If my usage per 5 minutes only 5000, then there is no any additional cost event the API running every times?

How we can see how many API request per minutes?

there can be if you have other tools running on top. e.g Azure Monitor or monitoring tools. But please note: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-resource-manager/management/request-limits-and-throttling#error-code Once elapsed you can get 429s

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/consumption/#late-arriving-data for this I have not test but you should be able to use KQL similar to:

AzureDiagnostics | where Resource == "MICROSOFT.RESOURCES/DEPLOYMENTS" | summarize RequestCount = count() by bin(TimeGenerated, 1m) | order by TimeGenerated desc
