Entity Framework and "Azure SQL Database 2014-04-01 APIs will be retired on 31 October 2025"

I received the "Azure SQL Database 2014-04-01 APIs will be retired on 31 October 2025" email. We are using Entity Framework 6.4.4 and I am wondering if there is anything on the EF side of things that I need to be concerned about?

The links provided do not answer my question. I am not using any tools where I explicitly specify an API version; however, I am wondering if I need to worry about Entity Framework 6.4.4 targeting Azure SQL Database 2014-04-01 APIs.

We do have a support plan and I tried navigating to the "support request link" in the email (see below), but the instructions listed don't reflect what is on that page. I tried digging to no avail.

For Issue type, select Technical.  

For Subscription, select your subscription.  

For Service, select My services.

For Service type, select SQL Database.

For Resource, select your resource.

For Summary, type a description of your issue.  

For Problem type, select Portal and Client Tools.  

For Problem subtype, select Problem Retire Older Version Azure SQL APIs.

As I understand, you want to take action for the notification "Azure SQL Database 2014-04-01 APIs will be retired on 31 October 2025"

We’re constantly making updates to Azure SQL APIs to ensure optimal security and performance. Therefore, we’ll be retiring following 2014-04-01 Azure SQL DB APIs on 31 October 2025. To minimize service disruption, please upgrade to a newer version or remove the usage of these older version Azure SQL DB APIs.
