https://teams.microsoft.com/l/chat/0/0?users=(teams email) doesnt work anymore

i used the link in a powerapp but it doesnt send me to a chat anymore it just send me to i page to download teams?

Could you please tell me whether you were linked to this page?

Based on our research, this is an expected behavior and the page will pop up a window like this (This is to determine how you want to go to Teams):

Please check this option to navigate directly to the chat window of the Teams desktop client in future uses.

Alternatively, you can select Use the web app instead, which will take you to the Teams web client.
