Unable to share Zoomit annotations while sharing individual windows in Teams

This week, during our Commercial Customer Skilling sessions, we've noticed that we can't share annotations on MS Edge pages when sharing the individual window in Teams. We are able to share annotations when sharing the entire desktop.

We rely heavily on Zoomit during our deliveries and would appreciate any assistance. Thank you!

    @Joe San Pietro

    It sounds like you're encountering a limitation with the way Microsoft Teams handles window sharing versus desktop sharing. Here are a few suggestions that might help you work around this issue:

    1. Use Entire Desktop Sharing: Although you've mentioned it, continuing to share your entire desktop seems to be the most straightforward solution, as it ensures that all annotations are visible to participants.
    2. Check MS Edge and Teams Settings: Make sure that both Microsoft Edge and Microsoft Teams are up-to-date. Sometimes, updates can fix compatibility issues. Additionally, check if there are any settings related to sharing or annotations within both applications that might be affecting your ability to share annotations.
    3. Use Alternative Annotation Tools: If Zoomit isn't working as intended, you might want to try other annotation tools that are known to integrate well with Microsoft Teams. For example, Microsoft Whiteboard is integrated into Teams and could be a viable alternative for annotations.
