Recovering access to my x.com profile

A few years ago I associated my Twitter account (currently X) with Microsoft Authenticator.

For some reason that I can't explain, I haven't needed that application's code until today, even though I've changed computers and cell phones a few times since then.

The point is that I changed the password for my X account and, as a result, all my devices were disconnected.

I downloaded the Authenticator app on my new phone, but Twitter (or X) doesn't appear there among the “protected” accounts.

I wonder if there's any way Authenticator can help me recover my account, as X support is solemnly ignoring me.

    Hey there, Aparecido Carmo

You would need to access the Authenticator app on your old phone that was used to set up the two-factor authentication for your X account. You may be able to recover your account using these methods here: https://help.x.com/en/managing-your-account/locked-and-limited-accounts

    Hope this helps,
    Nathan
