We have implemented the integration of Dynamics 365 with Outlook - but pinning it isn't working

We have D365 integrated into Outlook and we instruct reps to pin it in the Outlook application, but the pin doesn't stay pinned when they go between emails and it is impacting their use of our CRM. We also would love to better understand the best practices in this area.
