Teams: Images not loading in chat

The problem is the image sent in the chat. Whenever I send an image (by copy-pasting it into the chat), the image does not show up, there is just a logo of the image in the middle of the box, and when I click on an image sent by me or a colleague, Teams dims and the icon shows up in the middle.

But video calls, screen sharing, etc. work fine without any issues.
