Outlook LTSC/2021 won't download a message that is an eml file

Hi,

I have been forwarded a genuine voucher that appears to be an eml file.

I can see it using Outlook.com and can forward it to myself.

However, it isn't downloading to my copy of Outlook LTSC/2021.

The copy I forwarded to myself from Outlook.com arrived.

Is there a setting somewhere that is stopping the original downloading ?

What do you mean about this? Do you mean that you cannot see the forwarded email containing the eml file in Outlook 2021 client?

Hi,

The original 'eml' email which I can see in Outlook.com, will not download to Outlook 2021.

If from Outlook.com, I forward the 'eml' email to myself, then that new one does download to Outlook 2021, presumably as it is now a standard email with an attachment ?

No it doesn't come through as an attachment but inline with the header the forwarding created.

In order to further confirm the issue is related to the eml itself, it's suggested that you could test on other eml or email to check if the issue persists.
