CAC reader not working to access Azure

Hi my CAC reader worked well when accessing Azure to remotely connect to work on my old personal (non work comptuer). However my new personal computer running window11 does not recognize my ID card! I get the message below. My work IT department said they can't help since it's a personal computer. I feel stuck. What are the next steps?
