Hi all; decided to check out TCPVIEW from sysinternals today and discovered a ton of [Time Wait] i have found 0 answers online or anyone talking about this so i'm asking here; what does this mean?
Did you also find the TCP State Transition Diagram (such as RFC 793), where TIME-WAIT represents “waiting for enough time to pass to be sure the remote TCP received the acknowledgment of its connection termination request”?
