After adding myself to an attack simulator training, training campaign I am not getting a notification. The training has no end time and is applied to an group. I was told that even if you add new users to the training campaign the should still receive the training, but I did not.

    Hi @Daniel Ideho ,

Were you able to receive the test email after creating the training campaign - please try this.

There could be several reasons why you're not receiving the email from the Attack Simulator Training campaign:

    1. Emails are being caught in your spam filter or junk folder: Check your spam/junk folder to see if the training emails are ending up there.
    2. The group you added yourself to is not part of the targeted users in the campaign: Make sure the group you added yourself to is included in the users targeted by the campaign.
    3. The campaign hasn't started yet or has already ended: Even though you mentioned that the campaign doesn't have an end time, ensure it has started and is still ongoing.
    4. There may be a delay in the system: Depending on the size of the group and the number of campaigns running simultaneously, it may take some time for the system to send out all the training emails.
    5. Incorrect email address in the campaign: Make sure the email address used in the campaign is correct.

    Hello @Daniel Ideho,

    Thank you for your response.

Based on your statement, I understand that you created a training campaign and targeted specific users and groups. All users and groups included at the time of campaign creation received an email notification. However, as you mentioned, users added to the group after the campaign was created are not receiving the email.

To confirm this, I tested the scenario in my tenant and observed the same results. Email notifications are only sent to users who were part of the group when the campaign was initially created. Any users added to the group afterward will not receive the email.

To ensure all intended users receive the notification, please include them in the group before creating the campaign. Once the campaign is created, adding users to the group will not enroll them in the campaign.

I hope this clarifies your concern.

The results from Attack Simulation Training are always a surprise to me. Never the same experience twice. I created a simple training course with just me 24 hours ago, added simply as a user and no groups or other filters. Still no training email. In past they seem to mostly come through at some point, so my advice is to wait and hope.

It seems that putting an end date on the training somehow impacts the training. The terminology on the end date is also confusing. "Launch Hours"? Is it related to the end date or the launch???
