Trying to authenticate Mail on a new iPad Pro but the codes from Authenticator are not being accepted. Have been directly to Microsoft but the agents can't provide any solutions despite a lot of troubleshooting. Desperate as the iPad is a possible work solution for me. Mail works on m other devices fine.

May I ask if you are not able to accept the code from Authenticator when using Outlook on your new iPad?
If so, Microsoft has a dedicated support team for Outlook for Mac. It is suggested that you directly contact this support team by clicking Contact Support in the Help menu in Outlook for Mac. That team will assist you further. We sincerely appreciate your support for our products and services.
Meanwhile, you can also continue to wait patiently for a response from a Microsoft Authenticator technician.

2025-01-27T08:17:53.9166667+00:00 Thank you for that heads up. Authenticator is sending me eight digit codes and I need six, so I added another account and that does send six but they're still not being accepted. It may be an issue with logging into a personal account instead of a Work account but I have to work out how to do to ensure I have the correct account. And this is an Exchange account in Outlook. Thank you.
