Hello ,

I have an postgres deployed on my azure env but from the past couple of months we have been facing storage issues hence we are trying to downgrade the storage as we fixed the code and but I don't see the option of previous storage like earlier 64GiB later upgraded to 128GiB and now 256GiB but now I want to take it back to 128GiB, it is how it is ? or can we downgrade ?

Hello , Welcome to MS Q&A

You cannot downgrade the storage size of your PostgreSQL database on Azure. Once the storage size is increased, it cannot be reduced. To achieve a smaller storage size, you would need to create a new Azure Database for PostgreSQL flexible server instance with the desired storage size and then perform a manual dump and restore operation to migrate your databases.

For more details, you can refer to the Limits in Azure Database for PostgreSQL flexible server and the steps to scale storage

Please let me know if any ques

    Kindly accept if it helps

    Thanks
