Can you download Open Sourced models from Azure AI Foundry?

Can we download open-sourced model from hugging face from Azure AI Foundry?
If so, how do we do this?

I would like to download and use an open-source model that is available in the model catalog from Azure AI Foundry. While I understand that I can download it directly from HuggingFace for example, I would like the guarantees and checks that come with models under the Microsoft model catalog.

As I mentioned, your best bet is to correlate the listing of Hugging Face models in Azure AI Foundry and download them directly form the source.

AFAIK, this is not available directly from Azure AI Foundry. I'd expect you could find a workaround, but it would be by far easier to generate the list of Hugging Face models hosted in Azure AI Foundry, check their model IDs, and download them directly from Hugging Face.

I found out you can do "az model download" but I am still having issues downloading open sourced model. Seems like there might be a bug preventing this and was wondering if there was other ways I could do this.

If you are referring to the Azure ML CLI, then, AFAIK az ml model download is meant for the Azure ML scenarios:
