SharePoint Integration

Question

SharePoint Integrators are in demand for larger corporations/military units. What steps is Microsoft taking to build a new SharePoint Integration Certification program? At this point, SharePoint appears to no longer be targeted in the Microsoft Certification process. Larger certifications like Extent Microsoft 365 Fundamental or Extent Microsoft SharePoint – Associate appear to support a broad glide path. That said, credentials like Site Owners and Power Users appear to now be unavailable for SharePoint 2016, 2019, or SharePoint Online. As a COR for the Unit States Military, it is frustrating that a SharePoint Integration position has not been clearly defined by Microsoft. Given the high stakes involved with identifying a sound SharePoint Integrator, it would be helpful to have a vetted glide path defined by Microsoft within a government position.

There are many api provided by SharePoint Online, such as CSOM/JSOM/REST. Also, there are many library can operate data in SharePoint Online include PnPJS and SPPlus. If you have other system want to integrate SharePoint Online, you can use Microsoft Graph API.
