Managing bookmarks, browsing history, and downloads in Edge on Windows 10

So one day I disabled Microsoft Edge when using task manager by clicking the startup and disabling it because it opened in a weird way. Then I went on the search thing on the bottom to the left where all the apps are next to it and when I looked at the top sites they weren't the same as it was before. Then, when I checked on the history on Microsoft Edge, everything was gone just like the top sites. At first, I thought my laptop got hacked but then I remember that I disabled Microsoft Edge, which I took a few weeks to enable it again. So my question is how can I get all the old information from before I disabled Microsoft Edge because I tried doing different stuff when I searched it up, but it seems like nobody had this problem before so please can someone help me with the problem that I am having?

Dear Yoselin,normally this doesn't just happen when disabling Edge from startup;
Have you tried resetting the sync?
This might help;
See you soon!
So what happens if that doesn't work? Because before I disabled Microsoft Edge, all my stuff was like logged in with my daughter's school account and everything was there but ever since I disabled Microsoft Edge it just reverted back to all of the old stuff from 2021.
Hello Yoselin,my name is Luiz Cruz independent consultant and I'm here to help you;
How strange, this is not common to happen simply by disabling Edge from startup in Task Manager;
But you can try resetting your account sync on Edge;
Open Edge and go to Settings;
Click Synchronize;
Enable all options and click Re-synchronize;
Synchronization may take a few minutes to complete;
Verify that your browsing history appears correctly now;
See you soon!
