SCVMM Cloud

Hello experts,

I do not have any SCVMM Private Cloud in system. I have 3 different Hyper-V clusters with their own logical switch (1 per cluster). I intend to create a separate Private Cloud for each cluster and add Hyper-V host groups to respective cloud.

When we create cloud in SCVMM, we basically assign Hyper-V host group, logical network, storage etc… (Basically a small container with its own resources)

Can I assign existing hyper-V hosts groups to newly created Cloud without any downtime? If I just assign host-group to cloud (and nothing else), will the hosts and VMs hosted on it loose connectivity to existing Logical Switch/Storage etc..?

The idea post creating Cloud for each cluster is I intend to create a Separate Logical Switch (1 Per Cluster) and Migrate VMs logical network from existing logical switch to new logical switch created in Cloud.
